A Unique Invitation
We invite you to help us achieve the Voice for Great Ideas Campaign's $5 million goal and ensure that the leading minds of our time have meaningful and lasting influence for generations to come.
—Lisa See, UC Press Foundation Trustee and Author Campaign Advisory Committee Member
Give your voice to great ideas by making a contribution to the Campaign for University of California Press. Special donor opportunities include...
Making an Unrestricted Campaign Gift
Your unrestricted gift will be directed to the campaign's greatest area of need.
Advancing the Digital Transformation Project
Your gift to the $2 million Digital Transformation Project will bolster UC Press's digital publishing capacity and help us meet the changing needs and expectations of twenty-first-century readers.
Contributing to the General Endowment
Contributions of $1,000 or more to the UC Press endowment provide a secure and flexible source of future funding and sustain publishing programs for generations to come. Gifts designated to build this critical endowment have funded hundreds of books over the past two decades.
Creating a Named Endowment Fund
Establish a Named Endowment Fund with a gift of $25,000 or more. The principal will be invested permanently and earnings will support publications in a UC Press subject area of your choice, in which you will be recognized by name.
Establishing an Endowed Imprint
We will recognize gifts of $250,000 to $1 million by establishing an Endowed Imprint that will honor your generosity in perpetuity. Imprints are needed to support publications in California studies, film and media, food and wine, poetry, natural sciences, religion, and other subjects.
Make a Gift
Gifts should be directed to the UC Press Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization. Simply select your preference from our many ways to give.
